Laid-back establishment offering coffee, smoothies & light fare, plus weekend brunch....
Every time we come to Madrid we always stop by and enjoy a wonderful meal and best coffee in Madrid. The place is chilled and cosy, the food quality is excellent (they always keep up with the standards. There is not one time they got it wrong!). The staff is friendly and constantly taking care of every single detail related to customers and making them feeling welcome throughout their visit. Best tema ever. We will keep coming back and recommending it!
Even if the dish I chose was tasty (but way too oily), our overall experience was not very good. We waited for an hours for our food to come and even if they gave us a free lemonade « to say sorry », they gave it to us and took out my glass while i hadn’t finished drinking my own lemonade… Theolace is very very loud you need to shout in order to communicate with the people next to you.
My wife and I just happened to pass this coffee shop trice and decided to stop in for a quick cappuccino. Of course there is never quick when it comes to coffee because, ultimately, you’ll start chatting with people and just want to slow down and enjoy your brew. This was definitely the case. I liked the efficiency of this coffee shop. While was was paying, someone was already making out coffees, which my wife and I enjoyed on the small table outside. The barista was charming and asked us a lot of questions about how we were enjoying Madrid. I like that a lot. They served our coffees pretty quick and the flavor was outstanding! I felt it was made well and was consistent all the way to the bottom of the cup. Would definitely come here again!
A nice place for breakfast. Their toasts were good and tasty. However, the place was very crowded and noisy; it would be better if it was quieter or more spacious. In short, we liked this place.
1st stop in Madrid after a 9 hour flight. Really delicious food and coffee. Super nice servers too. Had to wait 10 minutes to get a table inside but we were able to have a coffee outside while we waiting. We had espresso, long black, and a cold brew - all of them were great. The avocado toast with poached egg and açaí bowl were fantastic. Thanks for a great first meal and experience in Madrid!
