Motteau bakery

I usually have coffee with milk and it’s really good. Both the coffee AND the milk are typically not well-taken care of but this place makes them really good. Form me the real deal is when I can have the coffee without sugar. And this is the case here, a a mellow and tasty "café con leche" The pastries are also high quality, good looking and tasty. The place is small and quaint and usually packed because there aren’t many tables. The prices are aligned with a gourmet style restaurant. They’re on the high side but I’d say they’re worth the quality offered. The service is okay. I had a minor misunderstanding that I think they could have handled more elegantly but it wasn’t a big deal.

An absolute MUST if you are in Madrid. Everything about this patisserie is perfect. The coffee is great, the cakes and pastries are out of this world and the service is impeccable. Visited several times on our trip.

Motteau is a lovely place in Madrid! The pastries are delicate, beautifully crafted, and absolutely delicious. The staff is warm and welcoming, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. A perfect spot for a sweet treat and coffee in the heart of the city!

Amazing. Quiet little place, hidden in the alleys. We had a pistachio tart and the almond cheesecake and both were delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. 5 stars and will return for sure

A very lovely and cozy café! The cakes are beautiful—truly a delight to eat. I rarely eat sweets, but when I do, I love to enjoy them like this. Highly recommended!
