Well at least the bathroom was clean. I don’t know how this bakery has such high ratings. Sunday at 3pm and hardly anyone in shop. The croissant was flat and stale, and was 4.50!! Go somewhere else.
I have been served by Belén. She made me the best espresso I have ever had in Madrid, and as I am Italian I am very picky with coffees. Also she suggested me to try a biscuit covered with chocolate and some pomegranate jam that she actually make. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I have to say that she gave me a great service made me feel very comfortable. I absolutely suggest this place.
Very delicious variety of pastries and croissants.
What a terrific experience I had. The best hot chocolate, best Almond Croissant ever and best Palmera. (Heart shape dessert. Awesome and friendly staff. Their names are Sima and Alberto. A must to visit when in town. I’ll be back tomorrow for sure.
It's in a very good location. Their coffees are pretty good. As far as I can see, they use fresh coffee instead of machine coffee. However, the prices are quite high. Almost twice the price of a standard cafe. They also charge extra for to-go coffees. I would never expect something like this from such a place. Staff serve very slow. I waited exactly 15-20 minutes for croissants and coffee.
