Great churros, awesome textures, super crispy outside, super soft inside and so amazing chocolate, it was so awesome, super tasty, not too sweet and the texture was perfect! Bravo! 🤗 The coffee was really good too.

Great traditional churros for a price of 5,30Eur. Cozy place with nice interior and small sitting area inside. We can definitely recommend this place! 👍

Churrería Madrid 1883 is our favorite spot in Madrid for churros, porras, and hot chocolate! We've tried many places, but this one remains our top choice—we keep coming back for a reason. The rich, velvety hot chocolate paired with freshly made churros and porras is simply irresistible. The service is always excellent, the place is filled with locals, and they generously provide complimentary water whenever you ask.

Went on a cold rainy morning, not a lot of customers yet. Ordered a racion of churros and porra (thicker fluffier relative of churros) as well as some coffee. The churros were crispier and a bit lighter inside, went damn well with the thick chocolate. I prefer the porra on its own, reminiscent of the fried dough sticks (you tiao) in Asia. Goes well with chocolate too, but just a personal preference. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well! The gentleman was so patient taking my orders and making sure everything was proper before notifying me to collect the order. Thank you so much!

Wow this churros and chocolate shop has been in operations since 1883! At a space for just about 20 pax, I see that the kitchen is huge! I heard that there are many other branches now which served beers and such other things but this is other main branch. Of course anyone near a place with such long history has to try the food right? 😃
