Excellent professionals, top-notch service, and delightful staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great value. I'll definitely be back.
My experience was exceptional. I brought a pair of Tag Hauer watches for maintenance, and they returned them to me in perfect condition. A perfect job. Pedro is a great professional. Thank you.
My experience with them has been quite bad. I left a Citizen 8110—which I'm quite fond of because it was a family gift—to have the bracelet shortened. They returned it to me a few days later with damage to the dial, hands, and crystal. I complained that it wasn't like that from the start, and the owner initially implied that "I could have dropped it." Finally, a watchmaker in the workshop admitted that they had opened it "because they saw it was damaged" and offered to repaint the damaged hands (the crystal and dial remained damaged). When I went back to pick it up, one of the pushers wasn't working, the right subdial hand had fallen out and was loose in the case, and the crown was loose (surreal). I left it back again for repairs, and it ended up looking "similar" to how it was when I first brought it in, but with repainted hands, a damaged crystal, a completely dirty dial, and one hand stuck pointing downwards. I repeat: all they had to do was shorten the bracelet. I've included photos of each stage. The worst experience I've ever had, not just in a watch shop, but in any store. DO NOT TAKE ANY WATCH YOU VALUE EVEN THERE.
There aren't many watchmakers like this anymore. They repair antique pieces with excellent results and even offer advice over the phone on how to fix minor issues that may have arisen over time, how to prevent them from losing time. In my case, they performed a complete cleaning and repaired the mechanisms of a pair of mantel clocks from the second half of the 19th century, typical of mercury-gilt bronze. A highly recommended watchmaker.
