La Mejor Tarta de Chocolate del Mundo

Is it the best chocolate cake in the world? Not sure about that but it is defo delicious. I liked the darker chocolate more than the milk chocolate, both were very light and airy. The ladies working there were very kind. Check out the weird sink in the bathroom!

We were drawn in by the ambitious claim of serving the "best chocolate cake in the world," but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for us. To be frank, we found the taste to be a bit strange and not very well-balanced. Of course, this might just be a matter of personal preference. The shop itself is very small and was empty when we arrived. Overall, it wasn't a special experience, and we feel it's a place you can probably skip.

Next time I will try the 70% instead of the 50% kind of chocolate. Anyway, it was good. Maybe the slice was not that big compared to the price, but that’s still okay. The place is so so nice and tiny and the waitresses are absolutely lovely. And to be honest, I can tell that the espresso is actually a very good one.

We came here because we saw it while walking by. It is a charming hole in the wall. The Cafe con Leche was okay. The tarta de chocolate has a 50% and a 70% option. We got both. The tarta is like a mousse with macaroon layers. I would prefer just having the mousse without the macaroon layers. We also had the churros con chocolate. The chocolate was the best so far in Madrid.

Cozy, welcoming, specialized cafe. Few steps from Lope de Vega museum. They have two options chocolate cake. I have chosen 60% -the higher, and thought it will be dark chocolate like, but was very sweet in my taste. Should suit chocolate lover. Wide smiles and warm attitude from the owner/ shop attendant.
