La Botillería del Café de Oriente

My wife and I were completing a 5 hour museum tour and were looking for a place for lunch. We were looking for a place for lunch and Natalie graciously invited us in to their restaurant even though they were shutting things down. We were privileged to enjoy a wonderful multi course meal that was absolutely amazing! The staff was amazing and particularly Natalie made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend if you are in Madrid!

Phenomenal spot! Gorgeous venue with an excellent menu. We had Natalia as our server and she is wonderful. She told about the history of the restaurant, the wine, and was very knowledgeable. My friends and I shared few tapas and had main dishes. I highly recommend the seafood rice and the croquettes. This is super close to the Cathedral and Royal Palace - definitely a great place for lunch!

We stopped by this restaurant so that we could have a coffee outside and enjoy the beauty of the Royal Palace. We met a lovely woman named Natalia who bought us coffee. She was absolutely lovely and coffee was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back later that evening for dinner. We spent time laughing and talking to her and enjoying all the delicious food that she recommended. I love this restaurant and would come back again and certainly recommended it to anyone.

Touristy, good overall but nothing extraordinary!! Service was very slow and the place was half full, fish was fantastic, the chicken was like dessert, so sweet you couldnt even eat it!! Just ok, although it looks better in pictures

Attractive, elegant restaurant, part of the Lezama Group which includes the Taberna del Alabardero and the Café de Oriente. A group of 9 of us had our Christmas lunch here and shared a variety of salads and tapas.
