Comfortable coffeehouse serving hot drinks, specialty sandwiches & handmade baked goods....
Great coffee and food! Got this place recommended by a local. The coffee and food were delicious! Quite busy, not easy to get a place to sit but everything is also available on take-out. Prices were more than reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is very nice. It’s clear that it’s really popular, as it was overcrowded. The lady put us on the waiting list for a table, but since the space is quite small, we had to wait outside, which wasn’t very pleasant because it was raining. After a few minutes, we were seated. There were three of us, and we sat at a small table that didn’t even have chairs to lean on. To place our order, we had to stand in line at the counter. The food was good, but we had to wait quite a while for it. They forgot my coffee, and I had to remind them. I understand that it can be challenging with so many people in the place. Overall, however, the restaurant is quite pleasant, and both the coffee and food are good.
Recommended: Hokkaido bread and the egg Benedict. Something sweet is the chocolate waffle. Pros: Amazing food and pretty good service. Cons: Not the best seats. Long wait for group of 5+
Hanso Cafe is such a gem in Madrid. The moment you walk in, you feel this creative, cozy vibe — the kind of place where the coffee actually *means* something. Their menu is simple but done with real care, and the quality of the coffee honestly stands out from most cafés in the city. The staff are friendly without trying too hard, and they make the place feel welcoming even when it’s busy. I loved the mix of locals and travelers, the relaxed energy, and the attention to detail in every drink. Whether you’re grabbing a quick flat white or settling in for a slow morning, Hanso is the spot. One of my favorite café experiences in Madrid.
A cozy and stylish spot with a great atmosphere! The coffee here is perfectly balanced — smooth, rich, and beautifully presented with latte art that shows real attention to detail. The waffle with fresh fruits was absolutely delicious — soft on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, and topped with a generous variety of fresh fruits and maple syrup. I also tried their shakshuka, which was full of flavor and came with freshly toasted bread — a great choice for breakfast or brunch. The service was friendly and quick, and the overall vibe was calm and modern, making it an ideal place to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality coffee and a good breakfast in Madrid ☕🍓🥞
