I’m Elsa Maalouf, a tourist visited Madrid. The Granier bakery I visited was beautiful, clean, and welcoming, but the service was disappointing. The staff member with a cross tattoo on her chest was unprofessional and unhelpful. I ordered a cappuccino with chocolate, but she added cinnamon, and when she replaced it, she filled only half the cup and handled it carelessly. We were polite the whole time, so this attitude was disheartening. Granier is a well-known bakery, and I hope this feedback helps improve the service to match its great reputation.
Nice spot to stop for a quick coffee and snack. Everything is fresh, the people are helpful and polite. I would recommend this place.
It’s really a below average bakery to eat breakfast and the deli assistant girls are ALWAYS in a quite bad mood. Besides that, they deffo don’t care about explaining the menu options and it gets worse if you don’t speak the Spanish idiom they’re used to. It’s not worth it the experience at all.
THE FOOD IS GOOD BUT THE SERVICE IS HELL. While I understand we all have bad days, I don’t understand why we have to be rude and unkind towards customers. The lady in the dine in cashier at 8:30 AM on 29/02 with hella big hoop earrings was so unkind & rolling her eyes while taking my order. Ruined my whole day considering it’s only 8:41 AM. 🥲 I hope you guys can train your staff or raise their wages so they feel motivated to come in.
Fast and friendly service. Recommended for breakfast
