You can come for anything from baked eggs to pastries, or even a cocktail later in the day and enjoy its warm atmosphere and all‑day kitchen.

I had a wonderful time at this terrace. The place is quite spacious, creating a comfortable and airy atmosphere. The highlights were definitely the food and the service. The dishes were delicious and the portions were incredibly generous—make sure you come hungry! Also, the staff was very welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the start. A quick heads-up for future guests: While the prices are decent, keep in mind that they are displayed excluding VAT. Be prepared for the total on the bill to be a bit higher than what you initially calculated from the menu. Overall, it's a great spot that I’d definitely recommend!

Everything was absolutely great! The food didn’t just look amazing on the plate, it actually tasted just as good. You can tell that attention is paid both to presentation and to flavor, which is not always the case. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely balanced. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, which makes the experience even better. It’s a place where you feel like you truly get value for your money. They also have a terrace, which is a big plus, especially if you want to enjoy your meal outside in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. I definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again!

The Federal Café truly exceeded all my expectations. The Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs was perfectly done and fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The Egg Benedict was absolutely delicious, with creamy hollandaise and eggs cooked to perfection with the Fetta Cheese 👌🏽. Beyond the food, the experience was made even better by the kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful staff, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Great atmosphere, great vibes, and outstanding quality all around. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an unforgettable breakfast or brunch spot in Madrid. I’ll definitely be coming back! 👌☕️🥑🍳

I had such a great experience at Federal Café in Madrid last week that I ended up going there two days in a row for breakfast (and that’s saying a lot in a city with endless options!). The food was absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely impressed by how efficient and speedy the service was without ever compromising on quality. A special thank-you to Jocelyn and Richard for their warm, friendly attitude and wonderfully quick service. They made each visit a pleasure, always greeting me with a smile. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in Madrid! :)
