El Pescador

Yes the floor could be slightly cleaner and yes our table wasn't even wiped down with a damp cloth after we sat down. But the food was OK albeit expensive (about 100 euros for 1 calamari dish, 2 ribeyes which weren't top notch, 4 glasses of beer and 2 cans of coke), but the service was nice and quick. Wouldn't recommend to go for a planned meal but if you happen to pass by on the lookout for food, it's an OK choice.

Waiter lied. We asked if they had bocadillos..he said no, only what you see on the menu... Then after we finished eating we see other customers eating bocadillos. He lied because he only wanted us to order the expensive dishes. Also busy road with lots of noice and the food we ordered was only okay.

We stopped there to have a drink and a snack. No menu for the drinks was given and the food menu was a paper trivet. There were no snacks on it so we took one of the cheapest option to share together. 12 croquetes for 13€… everything was really expensive. The food was of poor quality, we (2 persons) struggled to finish it. And it’s just later, that we saw some people getting only 6 croquetes, but this option was unfortunately not given on the menu. Moreover, every table got a little plate with free olives, but we didn’t get any. It’s a tourist trap in my opinion

10 years ago, bar el pescador served us the best calamari we had during our stay. Now, despite some bad reviews, we decided to revisite this place with our 2 kinds, and we're glad we did! Although they did not have an english menu, the waitress was very patient and explained the dishes. Especially lovely Brigitte was giving our kids a very good time. We enjoyed some good beer, very tasty calamari as well as some nice croquettes and mussels. Not sure if they replaced the staff, but our experience was nothing like some of the bad reviews written!
