super nice place with great coffee, love the concept!
Delicious tortillas and amazing service. I was there with my two kids and the waitress was extremely nice to help me with them and even offered us some nachos for my kid
I was searching for an organic shop with some cosmetics as we are visiting Madrid for a few days and needed face cream and hair conditioner. I found this Bio shop close to the house we’re staying at. It looked really cool and I was excited to check it out. I walked over to the shop about 10 minutes away. I found a cute cafe vibe with some organic goods for sale. Sadly, while the design of the place is aesthetically pleasant, the concept is a bit naive and annoying. All of the items for sale are kind of behind gilded cupboards, some with screen doors that need opening to access the products. This includes cute bags of dry organic beans and grains. In any case, I found the small cosmetics section. As I was investigating a couple of the products in my hand, after some minutes, a woman who was sat at the cafe table behind me began speaking to me. I think she was on a work break from the cafe it seemed. I couldn’t hear her, as I was enjoying my podcast on my AirPods. When I took them out and said “hello, sorry, what did you say?” She responded that I shouldn’t be handling the face creams and other items. I responded, “how am I supposed to come to know what product I am buying if I don’t try to read the small print on the boxes? To know the ingredients etc.?” She said I could ask the girl for help, and that I don’t need to be touching anything.” How ridiculous, I thought. Is this shop a business or not? Anyway, it’s not like anyone approached me and asked whether I needed help or not. Then I realised that it is a cute idea of a shop but not a serious place where one can come to search and find what they are looking for. The experience left obviously a negative and unwelcoming vibe with me, so I left. Pretty shop, but in my limited experience of the place, little substance and not welcoming at all.
Best Horchata in Madrid! Every time I visit Madrid I stop by when ever I can. Don’t bother with off the shelf Horchata form stores, every glass here is worth it. We just walked in and the owner already knew what we wanted.
Best place I have been to in Madrid: super friendly staff, tasty drinks and great food - for a fair price. 100% recommendation!
