Me and my friend went to the new year’s party and paid 50 euros and the ticket said it started at 23:59, we arrived around 00:20. The doors were closed, and the staff wasn’t even there they arrived at almost 1:00 and took 30 minutes to get the whole thing ready, we had to wait outside in the freezing cold, when we got in after waiting for almost 2 hours, the club was empty, it looked almost nothing like the vibe they try to give off on instagram. Not an experience to repeat at all. Music was nothing special and the drinks were overpriced and mid.
I had the worst experience ever at Costa Social Club. After stepping out briefly, I realized I had left my jacket inside, but when I tried to go back in, the bouncer flat-out refused to let me re-enter. I politely explained that I had personal belongings still inside, but instead of showing basic decency or even the slightest bit of professionalism, the bouncer was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Apparently, common courtesy doesn’t exist here. I guess locking someone out in the cold without their jacket is just part of the club’s “service.” Ridiculous. If this is how they treat paying customers, then I’d advise everyone to stay far away. This place clearly values arrogance over hospitality. Don’t waste your time or money—there are plenty of other spots in town that won’t trap your belongings and treat you like a nuisance.
We visited Costa Social because it had publicized Karaoke and was open late. On arrival, security greeted us and accompanied us downstairs to be seated. The server we ordered cocktails with returned to inform us it was unavailable, but since he was pretty new, he did not know cocktails were unavailable at the time. It also seemed they did not have Karaoke either on the night, which was not great to hear after we had ordered our drinks and paid. To our surprise, they served no cava or sparkling wines by the glass. We decided to leave but were not allowed to go with the drinks we had ordered, firstly because they had no takeaway cups, then after the excuse was, it was not allowed to walk with alcohol to our hotel across the street from the club. Extraordinary experience!!!
The Dj(Jav) was great, the theatrical fog was super annoying that you couldn't even see the next person by your side, peak exposures to too much special effect fog(carbon dioxide) can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, blurred vision and suffocation, service wasn't the best(drinks didn't equates price and quality) , at least they could improve in that area, the older bouncer lacks professionalism, this is common in Madrid though, especially in clubs frequented by too many young people. The music was great.
Great place for limited night clubs in Madrid due to Covid. Good sound system. 15 euros for two drinks is a great price, really had a great time dancing. Tables are spaced out for covid safety.
