The place is cute and the food and coffee are fine but I had a very upsetting experience. While having my breakfast there with a group of friends, a huge Doberman came into the eating area from the back of the cafe. It obviously belonged to one of the staff. This very big dog came right up to me and wanted my food. In doing so he hit my hand that was holding my coffee and it spilled all over my coat. The employee came, took the dog away, but did not offer any sort of apology, or offer to help clean or any sort of comment of any kind. She just went back to work as if nothing had happened. I was not happy at all and found it extremely unprofessional and rude. Aside that the dog was huge (harmless) but for anyone scared of dogs it could have been an issue.
This was a nice little cafe! They have not updated their menu and no longer offer smoothies. I got the goat cheese bread with caramelized onions with the sliced ham and it was delicious! The acai bowl is also quite good. It was cold outside and the staff left the door open in the morning which made dining there quite cold.
For our Nomad π» tribe, here a few comments! β’ Type of working: SOLO and Couple | they have long standing tables facing the wall. Comfortable for a couple hour work either solo, or with a friend or two. β’ Music: π΅π΅ (medium) | The 2000s songs were a bit distracting as we kept singing each song π overall, it didn't bother if you have to do some admin work. β’ Coffee: βοΈβοΈβοΈ (outstanding) Overall: 5 * We still gave it a 5βοΈ review, because we understand that this place is not designated for nomad workers. For the non-Nomad workers we suggest this spot for the easy-going vibes, the lovely customer service, and very tasty coffee. The price of the coffee is VERY reasonable compared to other specialty coffees in Madrid! Give it a try!ππΌ M&K
Very friendly staff in a tiny authentic cafe. We had breakfast and coffee 2 times herewhen we were in Madrid. The pistachio croissant is excellent, and I got only here a real espresso macchiato. :) Thanks everything, that was a pleasure to find it in the city, Highly recommended when you are nearby.
Lovely cafe with really cute vibes, with great interior design, pastel colors, and soft music - all round a really really inviting atmosphere. The coffee and pastries (I had the brownie) are great. Gluten free options (brownie, cheesecake, and a coconut pastry) are available, although the specific pastries on offer at any given time might rotate.
