Best Hours for Work
Weekday mornings are the quietest
Acabo de acudir para vacunarme y solo puedo dar las gracias al personal que me ha atendido. Un trato de 10. Iba un poco nerviosa y han sido encantadoras conmigo. Muchísimas gracias, de verdad.
Today 12-31-21 I had an appointment at 9:30 and in 5 minutes we were vaccinated, there was practically no queue and the truth is that we are quite happy with the treatment of the staff there, a ten for the work they do
My wife and I had an appointment to get vaccinated at 8:00 AM, and no one has been vaccinated yet. There's a queue of over 50 people, all with appointments, but no one is attending to anyone, not even those with appointments. For all those who say this is the best hospital, it's a disgrace. If you give people an appointment, honor it. Shameless!
No queues when I arrived and my appointment was at 12:40 and I arrived at 12:30. I arrived and entered.
On the first floor of the teachers' college, you'll find a cafeteria that offers a daily set menu for just €5.01 (please remember the cent!). First and foremost, I must highlight the excellent service from the cafeteria staff. They are always at your service with a big smile and the utmost professionalism! You won't find food this cheap anywhere else in the area, however, you get what you pay for, and that price is the sacrifice of a rather plump body because they are stingy with the rice and fries. So, if you're sensitive to this kind of injustice or simply want to maintain your figure and have a glycemic index (LH) over 150, you shouldn't order just one set menu because the minuscule spoonful of rice they serve with the oily pseudo-chicken (the cafeteria's specialty) will leave irreversible neurological damage! For the health-conscious readers of this review, I must say that YES, they do have vegetarian options! If you love hummus, falafels, tabbouleh, and rich salads with all sorts of green delicacies—like a Caesar salad without chicken because you're vegetarian, a salmon/tuna-like poke bowl, or Russian salad without mayonnaise because you're vegan—the teachers' cafeteria isn't the place for you. Here, tomato, corn, and lettuce salad reigns supreme (sometimes they add tuna because tuna isn't a plant but a shrub, and as we all know, tuna doesn't suffer in the bullring, but the bull does), and you should be grateful for that. DISCLAIMER: The vegetable stews, beans, and lentils they offer are not suitable for a vegetarian diet since they invariably add tiny, greasy bits of bacon that will send your bilirubin levels soaring! (When I look at you and you don't look at me) ***Since this summer, they've been accepting cards, so hipsters, Apple addicts, and Samsung Pay users, don't worry! The café is adapting to modern times! Since last year, the café has decided to show its solidarity with the fight against ocean pollution and the death of hundreds of whales due to the tons and tons of plastic bags that end up in the sea. So much so, our highly ethical café has put up a small sign that everyone can see (it's above the coffee machine) stating its firm decision to charge for plastic bags if you order takeout (you might as well eat at home, dude!). Unfortunately, these bags aren't biodegradable, so before you take your meal to Retiro Park and soak up the sun (those from the city have the best parties and a knee in their hospital, but they can never boast about having the Buen Retiro Gardens where you can buy all kinds of toppings for your cigarettes), remember that you're paying for a plastic bag that will inevitably end up in the sea, poisoning a little whale. If you are an Erasmus doing your exchange with UCM, remember this statement: in Spain if you ask for a coffee it will ALWAYS be "café au lait" so PLEASE be precise and ask for a: "café SOLO miarma sin leche si puede ser" otherwise you will be obliged to drink that milky coffee you didn't order YOU lactose intolerant. Post data: The library is not in the teaching of ignorant young third graders.
