Judging by the way the bartender treated us, another group of people, and another group of people, we sensed they must have too many customers; the gestures and awkward remarks made us uncomfortable and made us leave before ordering our drinks.

A traditional bar; very close to the center and heading toward Malasaña; friendly waiter; Estrella Galicia 3.70, Maeloc 3.40; and drinkable tapas.

A classic local bar. The waiter, Roberto, was attentive and friendly. The croquettes we had were fantastic. The price was perhaps a little high, but still, a place to return to.

I've gone there for a drink a few times after the theater because it's so close, and it's fine for a quick bite. They have Estrella Galicia on tap, which is a big plus. As for the food… I don't recommend it. I ordered a slice of Spanish omelet, and I can say with certainty that it was the worst I've ever had. Extremely salty, with chunks of onion that were practically whole onions. In short… never again. The waiter was very friendly and hardworking, and the service was quick.
