Entusiasmo por transmitir a los alumnos. Con afecto y respeto hacia ellos. Algo que no se da en otras facultades ni escuelas, donde parece que quieran hundir a los alumnos . En geológicas hay profesores que tienen entusiasmo por su profesión como geólogos . Y a los que les gusta que otros se ilusionen y aprendan todo lo que puedan. En sus aulas y en las interesantísimas salidas de campo, que nos dan envidia a todos ( incluso bajo la lluvia o el sol intenso). Una escuela en la que se forma en un conocimiento esencial para el hombre en relación con el mundo que le rodea, en cualquier ámbito de la vida, más en este momento de grandes retos en cuanto a recursos. Tengo hijos en otras facultades y se nota muchísima diferencia. Gracias

The building houses the faculties of the Complutense University of Madrid in its University City campus. It is recognizable by its rectangular shape and height, constructed mostly of exposed concrete, which is aesthetically questionable. Construction dates from the late 1960s.

Great location, right on the main road. It has everything students need for comfort. The bus stop is right across the street, and the metro station is a 5-minute walk away.

The faculty building isn't bad for eating in the cafeteria, but the floor releases asbestos, which is a carcinogen. People exposed to this element have been identified as having a 10% higher probability of developing lung cancer. Therefore, it can be concluded that studying geology at the UCM causes cancer, and since it is a public institution, the State is killing us.

It needs a fresh coat of paint everywhere; it looks ugly, old, and dilapidated from the outside, and the inside too. And the food is incredibly expensive—a 250ml bottle of water costs €2.00. That's very expensive for a student faculty. And it's even more expensive for those preparing for competitive exams, with supply shortages and long queues to buy overpriced items. They need to improve everything.
