Cockroaches scurrying across the bar's display case. The toast comes with frozen tomato. Why doesn't the health inspector come and check the whole bar?

Good 'old fashioned' cafe. Refreshingly unchanged and disappearing fast in the centre of Madrid.

The tortilla tasted bad, they give you leftovers from the day before, and there were so many cockroaches. I don't know how people can go there and see the cockroaches and act like nothing's wrong, the cockroaches walking all over the plates.

Poor service, terrible and poorly made coffee, oily and cold churros...

A functional, hidden bar, one of those old-fashioned places. Unpretentious, but surprisingly affordable in this area, which is known for its high-end offerings. Four starters and two main courses for the groundbreaking price of €11.80. The service was adequate, nothing special. The quality was acceptable. It's a shame they don't advertise the menu outside, forcing you to go inside and ask what's on. I think that would be a positive change, especially in the 21st century. We need to adapt a little to the changing times.
