Tapas, sangria & cocktails, plus teas & desserts, in a cozy, fairy tale-like ambiance....
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at El Jardín Secreto. The food was outstanding - the tortilla was perfectly cooked, the jamón was rich and flavourful, and the prawn rolls were an unexpected highlight. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, and the beer was amazing- crisp, cold, and the perfect pairing for the meal. Staff were fantastic and friendly too. If you’re in Madrid and looking for great food in a cosy spot, El Jardín Secreto is a must visit. Highly recommended!
The restaurant vibe is magical. The decorations, different types of seating. The menu has a large varity of food. I would not recommend for traditional Spanish food as the food is from different places. There's a high variety of desserts and cocktails. The food came super fast. It is a very busy place, I'd say always make a reservation
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ El Jardín Secreto is such a hidden gem in Madrid! The desserts are absolutely delicious — rich, creative, and beautifully presented. The place itself has the quirkiest design I’ve ever seen: weird, random, and full of surprises at every corner. Somehow the chaos makes it super charming and memorable. Perfect spot if you want great sweets in a fun, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. Highly recommend!
El Jardín Secreto is truly enchanting – it feels like stepping into a Studio Ghibli film brought to life. The atmosphere is magical, with soft lighting, countless carefully curated decorations, and cozy window alcoves with tables that make the place feel unique and intimate. It’s worth visiting for the location alone. The prices, in my opinion, are excellent, and the cocktails are well-crafted and enjoyable. Although I didn’t have the chance to try the food, the host was wonderfully kind and welcoming. If I ever return to Madrid, I would most certainly go back – it’s a place that stays with you
I've been coming here for years, first time being 2014. Amazing decorations, cocktails and desserts. The two things that disappointed me a bit this year were the lack of AC and the lack of any baby changing facilities (the waitress offered to help me change the baby which was so lovely, so the staff are amazing, even if I didn't take her up on the offer!). I will come back nonetheless ☺️
