Weekday mornings are the quietest
A great place to grab a few beers and some snacks, with a modern yet functional decor. The service is excellent.
A good bar that recreates the traditional Madrid tavern concept quite well. The decor takes you back in time, and the food, overall, was good. However, we found that almost half of the menu was unavailable: no croquettes, no desserts, and some of the appetizers we wanted. The staff wasn't the best either. They were very strict with the rules: we were a large group, and they wouldn't let us join two tables together, so we ended up eating separately. Furthermore, we ordered cañas and were immediately served doubles, which doesn't quite fit with what one expects in a typical tavern. In short, it's a peculiar place with a traditional atmosphere, but I honestly think there are better options in Madrid for traditional bars and taverns to enjoy the full experience.
What a great place, the food was amazing. The owner Moises is great people, and the staff and bar tender were great. Food is a must. Local spot in a quiet neighborhood. Has indoor and outdoor seating.
Nice bar to taste the bravas and the ensaladilla rusa! Would recommend if you want something light and relaxing
Our new favorite bar in all of Madrid! Apart from the fact that the design and architecture is really cool, the layout is perfect for a small gathering of friends or just grabbing a beer on the terrace. Above all, the staff is amazing! They are so attentive and kind and really make the experience much better. Last but not least, the food is classic and very well done! The ensaladilla is out of this world.
