Ordered a flat white and it came black 😂 also did not look professionally made, with a weird part of the rim looking like someone already drank out lf it. The iberico ham toast was also weirdly placed off centre on the plate which was not anything wrong, just looked very odd. waiter did not seem happy too as he slammed our glasses and bottle of water on the table. I did not bring the coffee mistake to their attention or ask them to remake it so i wonder what could have made him so angry 😂 the bathroom is nice though
Coffee and food here are excellent — consistently great quality, and that’s what kept us coming back during our six-day stay in Madrid. Unfortunately, the service is very inconsistent and can significantly impact the experience. On multiple visits, we encountered a particular staff member (Angie) whose attitude and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed the otherwise great food and coffee. The difference between shifts was night and day: when she was working, the service felt rushed, unfriendly, and uncomfortable. It’s disappointing because this place has so much potential. Great food and coffee deserve equally good service, and right now that’s not always the case.
We had a very pleasant welcome in the bistrot of hotel Catalunya by Raphael. What a host, we felt directly very much welcome. Besides his very good service the bites were tasty and fresh, love it. Thanks Raphael, you made our day with the best impression today
I visited this cafe for my birthday🩷, and I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The people there were lovely, and the service staff was extremely attentive. Overall, I really enjoyed my time and would definitely recommend this place!
This café is located inside a recently opened 4-star hotel but has its own separate entrance. The waitress was very kind, though she seemed quite busy as she was handling everything on her own. We ordered three iced lattes, which were flavorful and generously sized. At 6 EUR per glass, the pricing felt fair considering the hotel’s central location. If you're feeling a bit worn out after exploring Gran Vía, it’s a nice spot to pause, enjoy a drink, and perhaps treat yourself to something sweet.
