Terrible customer service. Came in, not welcomed by staff busy chatting. Had to request for my table, they just told me it was at the back, not bringing me there (they were 3 and no customer at the bar). After a while, as no one came to give the menu or offer water, I went at the bar to request it. Came back to my table with a menu. Made my choice for a smoothie while I was waiting for my friend, went back to the bar to request that smoothie and was told that actually only one smoothy was available and all the other ones were out of stock. Showed me a packaging of frozen berries from supermarket to show me they only had these left... It could have been nice to know before making my choice. And if you offer frozen fruits for smoothies, don't brag about it. My friend arrived, we made our decision on our meals, came back to the bar and requested our meals. We were told that what we wanted was out of stock too. And that, actually, most things were actually out of stock... We then to ask what was available, otherwise the staff would have let us pick something hoping this was available... How come aren't we told what's available before we make our choice? And twice?! We left, so we can't say if the food was good or not. But please, pay attention to customers. The minimum is to welcome customers and tell them what's not available straight away...

The perfect cafe. Delicious food, great coffee and matcha, cozy seating. I'm gluten free, and they were so accommodating. They ran out of gluten free bread and ran to get some. It was so sweet. After that, they prepared a beautiful French toast with fruit, nuts and honey for me. You are in good hands here.

Food was delicious, we had the mushrooms on sourdough and the pancakes! The pancakes were 10/10, so fluffy. And the mushrooms were creamy, but I struggled to eat the entire plate as it was very rich (so I would recommend sharing as it’s still worth getting). Friendly service, menu on the more expensive side but you can tell the quality is worth it.

they have really good brunch options and a good variety of coffee drinks. The service is perfect, they are gentle, kind and considerable. Even though they might be busy, they still try their best to take care of all the customers. I have been there many times before I write this review, I really feel comfortable and fully respected by this place The atmosphere is so comfortable and chill, I had really good time there for working and chilling there. The place is neat and clean.

Came for a drink on a Wednesday night with a friend and had a lovely relaxed time. While you’ll definitely notice the decor (who could miss a life-size baby giraffe holding a chandelier?!) more important is the comfy relaxed seating. There is space and it doesn’t feel as though there is an attempt to squeeze people in. It has a ‘bring your Mac and coffee’ vibe but the sign about no laptops suggests awareness of this with a view to encouraging community. Drinks seem well-priced and it’s great to see local beers on offer (Brockley brewery), though seemingly not on tap. Two drinks with change from a tenner is average, especially for somewhere so nice. Speaking of the decor, while a bit ‘concrete and glass’ industrial, it surprisingly has a warm feel. There’s no sense of being blasted by an fan or frozen in the name of being stripped back. It felt a bit like a stylish living room and despite being quite strong visually it blended into the background. The staff member on hand was friendly, a family with a young kid came a bit later and it was just simple. It’s firmly on my list to visit again and a great place to meet up. Next time I’ll try the food - seems pancakes are a winner.
