Westland Coffee & Wine

Best value coffee of anywhere in Shoreditch, and one of the originals from way back before the hipsters arrived. Tucked away in a cobbled side street, this little gaff is a quiet and unique, unlike the dime a dozen replicant boutique chains elsewhere nearby. The coffee is on the dark side, which is fine for me, and brewed out of a La Marzocco, which is always a sign of goodness. Definitely worth a try at least once.

I’ve been visiting this cafe every week since about 6 months now and it’s my go-to for coffee and brunch. Their sandwiches are to die for! I especially love the coffee - I usually get a vanilla latte - and it’s one of the best coffees I’ve had in London, one that suits my preferences. The staff is so sweet and accommodating as well. It’s quickly become one of my favourite spots to chill in the city.

Great coffee shop nestled in Shoreditch / Old Street. Really nice atmosphere and interior, definitely nice to visit for a drink after work. Nice outdoor seating area too. My cortado was pretty good, maybe a drop over extracted but good overall and full bodied roast. Staff were really nice and cheerful. Definitely recommend, try support your independents! Coffee is great! I had the flat white with Oatly milk and it was perfect. The owner was also very nice and gave us tips for our next trip. A nice cosy place if you ever want a great cuppa to start your day!

Lovely little find and so much nicer than the chain coffee shops around this. Perfect place to wait for anyone waiting for someone attending Moorfields Eye clinic! Chocolate and Pistachio pastry & Mocha £5 good value and great quality, both really tasty 😋
