Really wanted to like this place, it looked good from the outside and had a reasonable vibe and the coffee was decent however the food was really low standard and massively overpriced; the egg, bacon and cheese focaccia was pretty tasteless apart from the tomato ketchup slavered on it, not sure where the cheese was and the Shatshuka was awful, it tasted like tinned tomatoes with a sprinkle of spices and two poached eggs (overcooked). All very disappointing and will not be back.
Love the coffee here! Visited on a rainy day for some lovely eggs and beans! Photo does not do justice, tasted incredible. Really wanna visit midweek to try their sandwiches 🥪
I would absolutely never recommend this place. Their pastries are not made on-site; they were old, cold, and nothing about them was fresh. On top of that, the toilet is disgusting. It’s outside in a cabin that doesn’t even close properly. If you’re sitting there and someone tries to open the door, they will 100% be able to see you. Apparently, during the weekend you’re not allowed to work on your laptop. Why? No idea. It’s very expensive, so you expect a certain level of quality when it comes to the coffee, food, service, and hygiene… but none of that is delivered. It’s a cozy place with a nice atmosphere to focus and get some work done, but they keep coming up to you to tell you it’s not allowed. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
Staff are top shelf and service is unparalleled. Great coffee and great place to spend the morning and just let the day go by. You can feel the creative energy in the space. Just come! You’ll love it!
Such a cute and lovely little place. The people here are very friendly, theres a real warmth about this place, they seem happy to work here and it shows in the food too, everything is freshly made and has a lot of great flavour. The place is decorated so beautifully, I loved sitting in. I get extremely nervous to sit and eat by myself so normally I would take away some fresh bakery but this time I had enough confidence to be able to sit, eat and enjoy the surroundings as the servers made me feel extremely comfortable, they are so lovely. This place is definitely a hidden gem, it's worth a visit.
