Cool spot, nice coffee and great to see they’re supporting redemption roasters! Biggest downfall was the terrible chickpea smash toastie, it’s the only veggie option and it was really vile. Not the staffs fault so didn’t want to complain there as coffee and service were nice. But pls get rid of the chickpea toastie!
Such a great experience at Little Louie. Chris and the team were professional, welcoming and attentive throughout. Our guests loved the venue and the atmosphere, and everything felt seamless on the night. Chris made the whole process effortless for us. We’ll definitely be back to host more events there. Muchas gracias, Chris.
I've walked past Little Louie many times, today I decided to visit. What is there to dislike 👎 nothing! Lots of seating, nice clean wc's, lovely coffee & toastie, interesting goodies for sale and charming staff😊 HAPPY DAYS
***edit in reply to the reply: Wow. So you're going with Starbucks as your guide? Hej cafe 5 mins away from you charges £4.20 for a chai latte and guess what, not only do they NOT charge for alt milk but they also discount 20p if you chose alt milk which brings it down to £4, bring your own keep cup and that drops to £3.80. The Watchouse cafe charges £3.60 for a chai no added cost for alt milk. Fuckoffee charges £4.40 for a Large chai latte and no extra for alt milk. Bring your own cup and get an extra stamp towards a free coffee. To me all of these are your contemporaries. But since you feel your contemporary is Starbucks, literally the one chain that is the worst of all I guess I do have a choice and I'll consider other places. Thanks for the candid reply. Original review I genuinely like this place because the baristas are awesome and friendly and caring and the coffee is gorgeous. BUT... a small chai latte with alt milk costing £4.60 is absolutely ridiculous. I know I can sit at home and have it for much less but honestly, wanting to support a local place and not opting for the popular chain literally 30 seconds away shouldn't feel like a rip off. I hope the management considers lowering the prices or at least removing the 0.30 surcharge for alt milk. Most places have been doing that for years and I would like to not feel penelised for not have cow's milk. Attached is a photo for the lovely (albeit way too sweet) Chai latte after it's been upgraded to a Large.
I was visiting London and staying at the place at Elephant & Castle. I am so happy I’ve discovered this lovely cafe! Food is delicious, coffee is excellent and service is great. The best part is its atmosphere, cozy yet cool interior, and local crafts market in the back. You can easily spend hours here drinking cappuccino, reading a book or journaling. Five stars ⭐️
