1917 Menu.....I recently visited The Ivy at Canary Wharf and had a lovely experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a 1920s style – elegant, stylish, and full of character. It felt clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed throughout. The staff were polite, courteous, and attentive without being intrusive. Service was smooth and professional from start to finish. The food was delicious, well presented, and satisfying. Each dish was carefully plated and full of flavour. One thing to note is that some of the main courses (from the 1917 menu) do not automatically come with sides, which increases the overall cost of the meal. That said, the quality of the food made it worthwhile. I would definitely revisit and recommend it for a special occasion or a refined dining experience. However, the location may not be ideal for those with mobility issues, as parking options nearby are limited. Overall, a very enjoyable visit.
Great ambience. Very friendly and professional staff, Daniella the hostess was very gracious even though we were 40 mins late on our reservations. Vengel was a polite and courteous waiter. We enjoyed our lunch with great value for money as we took advantage of their Heritage menu.
I had mine delivered from atis Canary Wharf. It was a custom platter with brown rice and butter steak, and it was absolutely amazing! The smoky flavor of the steak paired perfectly with the charred corn, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the chimichurri tasted. definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything was plated beautifully, and I would definitely reorder.
I always have had great food when visited any of the Ivy restaurants and this was no exception. The lovely warm welcome you receive as you walk in is something that doesn’t cost anything but makes you feel special. The waiting staff were so friendly and engaging, it felt genuine and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and the £19.17 menu were ate from was exceptional value for money and did not skimp on the portions or quality. The only reason I’ve not given 5* is that I think the wine is very expensive, the £40 bottle of wine we paid would usually be about £30 anywhere else. Putting that aside, for the standard of food you get it’s still excellent value.
Attended a corporate dinner here recently and it was perfect. There's something about The Ivy that just works well for these events - Sophisticated enough to feel like a proper event without being stuffy, which made for a really enjoyable evening. We had our own private dining room with three large tables, a dedicated bar and service team looking after around twenty of us. The service was exceptional. The staff looked after our group beautifully throughout the evening, attentive without hovering, and made everyone feel properly welcomed. That kind of seamless hospitality sets the tone for a great night. Food-wise, the event was carefully managed with pre-order in advance and I loved my choices: the duck salad was a perfect starter—fresh and flavourful with just the right richness. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and absolutely delicious. But the real showstopper was the Santa dessert, which arrived looking absolutely stunning and was massive. It is a crowd pleaser no doubt and it tastes great. Add to everything excellent wine, cocktails and whisky to wrap... If you're planning an executive dinner or corporate event, this is definitely worth considering. The combination of great food, attentive service and that elegant Ivy setting ticks all the boxes.
