Caffè Nero

Good spot to sit down, have a cuppa and watch people move outside. They have plenty of seats next to a windows, which I always dig. My latte was good, Nero's standard met for sure, came very fast too but place wasn't that busy. No smiley service, think barista was just tired.

The staff is friendly but queer travelers, watch out for the atmosphere and regular clientele. There is a group of gay men who go every weekend evenings, and they’re discriminatory against non white/brown people, especially Black and East Asians. Not a good place to feel welcome.

Did they get acquired by equity firm or what? When did quality of coffee go this bad. It just feels like powdered coffee and milk. The Bar Italia has 10 times better coffee than them for the same price. They don’t clean the coffee handles after each use. Just grinds coffee and puts on the machine after each use. I drink coffee from many places. Definitely caffe Nero has gone downhill in recent months. I only one thing to say, either train your staffs to standards or just see you business die down because of bare minimum quality

This is a small cafe with nice options to have small refreshments or a bite. The shop looks a bit old. It needs a little updating, especially in the toilets area, which it was very neglected. The shop is in a very important spot in Soho, and I liked that they are open longer hours than other coffee shops. The service was accurate, nice, and quick as possible 👍. The ladies who served me were very patient and kind. If you are in the area in Soho and you want to enjoy a nice coffee on Sunday night, this is your place 👌
