Black Sheep Coffee

Yikes! I don't know who was on shift yesterday around 7pm, but I have NEVER experienced ruder staff in my life. Not only did they look like they'd rather be elsewhere, but their attitude was absolutely vile. I am not asking to be treated like royalty, but I expect to at least have staff be somewhat nice if I am paying for a service. I ordered a large lemonade and they gave me a regular. Not too big of an issue, it happens, except the cafe wasn't busy at all and they couldn't be bothered to even check the receipt of an item. Not to mention, please avoid the lemonade.. There is seriously no lemon in it, it's laughable. They mix water and a tiny bit of syrup with some ice, and somehow market it as lemonade? Black Sheep, I'm really not sure if this is how your lemonade is supposed to taste or if the employees there were making it incorrectly.. Anyway, I apologised profusely for being a pain and asked if I could get my order remade, only for the staff to constantly speak over me and not listen to what I was saying. They proceeded to stand there for a few minutes, searching for my order, claiming that I didn't order a large under their breath when I had in fact ordered a large and it was on my receipt. After some seconds of due deliberation, they finally find the order and remake it, with so much enthusiasm that I might've as well been dragged through the mud. Please know that I usually struggle with giving bad reviews because I give benefit of the doubt a lot, and I often fail to speak up in public if someone has made my order wrong because it's not a big deal most of the time, but this was beyond ridiculous. It's a shame, really, because the waffles are absolutely delicious and some of the drinks taste really good. But I'm not sure if I want to go to this particular spot anymore due to the workers. Actually, the first time I went they also read my order wrong and didn't give me what I ordered, which was over three months back.

Hana is amazing, she has such good customer service! She is so sweet, and lovely and made my whole experience so fun!

Ordered a fresh blueberry smoothie. Need to order from the self service menu point and pick up from the serving desk. Quite speedy but very good smoothie. Relatively busy after work on a Tuesday.

The best drinks you can get, wish I had one closer to home but I will actively search one out when I travel. Recommend everytime. Excellent food and service. Interesting drinks and the basics.

Zeynep makes the best coffee! Every cup is smooth, fresh, and full of flavor. Her customer service is amazing, she’s so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can tell she really cares about her customers. Highly recommend!
