When we arrived there were barely any cakes. We had a chicken bap but that has such an overwhelming taste of mustard I could feel it in my nose. Might not actually be mustard but the vinaigrette overpowered all the other ingredients. When we were given the menu we should have been told what cakes were available instead of the rude reply we got when we ordered cakes which weren't there. There were barely any customers there at the time so I expected the service and quality of food to be better. The chicken also had cartilage and was clearly not the best cuts of the chicken. There are way more better non quirky cafes out there with better service
Had an afternoon here and my experience was good. The scone was buttery and delicious. Dessert all looks cute and tastes great, not overly sweet. They offer a few options for unlimited drinks which is quite valuable. Recommended this!
We had my best friends baby shower and they made it so so special. Manjula was amazing and went out of her way to make it amazing for us all. Everyone was incredible and the food was delicious. The food was very well presented. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much βΊοΈβ€οΈ
Great cosy cafe for friends meet ups. I visited this lovely cafe with a friend for a long overdue catch-up and the atmosphere of the place did not disappoint. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The lack of one star was really for the food. Although tasty, portions were really small for Β£40/pax + Service charge. I unfortunately found a very thin string-like fibre in the scones which I had to pull out of my mouth. I have informed one of the staff of this and I was offered a replacement scone which I refused. Apart from that experience, I had a great time, mainly because the place offered a cosy atmosphere for my catch-up with my friend.
I did a take away of Anyaβs pastries and they were just delicious! Every one of them that I tried were delectable and flavourful. The chubby hearts and chocolate reindeers are my favourites. Cherry and chubby cloud are second on that list. They are on the pricey side so I have them for special occasions.
