The cafe fully lives up to the good reviews it has received. The food we tried was very tasty, as was the coffee we drank. The location is also very good and makes the place ideal for a stopover. Definitely worth a visit.
Easy going, no frills café is a great spot for breakfast. Came here twice and tried their porridge, which was very tasty with almond butter and orange marmalade. The croissants are crisp and flaky and perfect with butter and jam. Added a side of artisanal sausage and that did not disappoint. If you want a casual place for great coffee and solid, simple breakfast, check it out!
I was in need of rest & a recharge. Nearby TimeOut is too loud & busy. Just across a park is this perfect cafe! A glass of VIBEYARD Vinho Verde + Fried Chicken Bun on brioche, pickled cucumber, nduja mayo, cheddar, chives, & yum! Perfection!!
On a rainy day in Lisbon, Café Janis was the perfect place for us to duck in and warm up. I had the crispy chicken, which was comforting, well cooked, and full of flavour, while my wife really enjoyed the avocado toast, fresh and nicely put together. We both had matcha lattes, smooth and well balanced, and they were exactly what we needed on a grey afternoon. The cozy atmosphere and quality food made it an easy, memorable stop and a place we’d happily return to.
What a little hidden gem. Myself and my husband had lunch here and it was delicious. What made the experience more special was the service. We were served off a young Brazilian man. We didn’t get his name but he was fabulous. 12/10 for service. The cafe is so cute and we loved the cool, natural vibes. A must try
