The Mess Café

This is a great place for coffee and brunch. The atmosphere is clean and spacious, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The food was great, and the little thrift store and grocery store makes the experience that much more interesting! Definitely a very cool spot!

I’m really disappointed with my experience. My first order was incorrect and although it was corrected, it still wasn’t right. I specifically asked for the eggs to be well done the second time, and they were still runny. For £12.50, the portion size was very poor ,I was given just three mini hash browns, which feels unreasonable, especially when the Google photos show two full-size hash browns on the plate. I understand prices have increased, but this was not good value for money at all. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Such a friendly and amazing atmosphere here! The staff are incredibly welcoming, the coffee is delicious, and the food is absolutely top‑notch. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to again and again. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful spot! The prices are very reasonable, and everything is beautifully done

Stumbled across this cafe whilst in the area for work and since gone back several times. The food is incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. Wait times are also satisfactory for a busy coffee shop. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive to your needs. The atmosphere is great if you want to work as well, with great coffee available in house. Plug sockets are limited, which means if you are wanting to work be mindful. Would recommend a visit if you are in area for a fantastic experience.
