Cute place, and popular on a Saturday. Waited for a table. I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Wow. I bet there were 4 eggs in the scramble and a very generous portion of salmon. I found it a bit lacklustre and dry with no chutney or even some cream cheese to compliment the salmon with the bread. Coffees and muffins were nice. I would try this place again and choose something different.
Came for the vegan options, just a few. The vegan cake was not available, it seems that it's never available so I don't understand why they keep it on the menu. The sourdough bread was too hard and doesn't seem to be sourdough. The sausage roll was small for the price they are charging. Sort of okay. Not my cup of tea. The place also has drafts, so it gets cold inside.
I feel disappointed! The cafe was not very clean. The tables were left covered with dirty plates from previous guests for a long time. I had to wash my own table to sit at it. The prices are above average. The staff did not seem interested in their work. I ordered the Irish breakfast and it was the worst I have ever tasted. The sausages were overcooked and dry, and the eggs were just burnt! I asked for new eggs and they gave me the same ones!
A small and lovely cafe with delicious food and drinks. We tried scrambled eggs with salmon and egg Benedict with salmon there were delicious. Also had an americano. The staff was kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it for a breakfast stop
Came for a quick morning bite to eat and catch up with an old school friend. We were warmly welcomed, ordered and sat in a cozy window spot with comfortable seats. I was super excited about the vegan sausage roll option, after moving to the states sausage rolls are something I have missed but was unable to indulge in after 7 years not eating meat. Well... they did not disappoint at all, and it hit the spot, the side of chutney with it was delicious also. I had a yummy hot chocolate to drink that was not overly dressed and tasted lovely. On leaving we were told by the lovely employees to have a wonderful day. Definitely a great cozy spot for a good waffle on a cold day.
