Nicest breakfast roll I've had in a long time. The pudding is amazing. We normally use a restaurant on Sundrive for breakfast every Sunday, but I will be definitely going to Pips from now on.
Recently I ordered a salad, and it was incredibly disappointing. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even bite it, and most of the box was just onions. There were only a few tomatoes and one very little of lettuce. That’s it. And they charged €6.50 for the box. There was basically nothing to eat it was really bad.
My go to whenever I'm back in Dublin. Staff are always so friendly, real Dubs a heart of the community. I'm a scaldy Corkonian and introduced people in the area I stay with to go there for our cures when I visit after living around the corner. Always meet the standards of what you want with attention to detail, great value and service.
Defiantly not a cafe, it's a commercial kitchen hanging over shops like a phone case shop and massage parlour. The inside is dirty and smells like cigarettes, The staff curse and swear constantly, I got flipped off by a foul mouthed blonde lady, when I asked about changing a roll. Id highly recommend to avoid the place unless you're a into being abused.
Heard lots about Pips over the years but not always working near but lucky for me I've been twice lately sue to work in the area. Always busy when I've been there so that's a good thing Brekkie rolls are savage so it's my new go to spot.
