O'Briens

I can only comment about the Guinness (I'm afraid I didn't sample any other offerings!), but the pint was really great. So great that I sampled 2 pints!! :)

Met up with a friend for a drink here last night, and we had an absolute blast. Great buzz, lovely crowd, and the pints were spot on. Fair play to the staff, super friendly and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be back!

Lovely spot in Ballsbridge, especially with the sun splitting the stones today! Great buzz around the place, loads of people out enjoying the day. Big shoutout to the French barman, Nino — sound fella, really attentive and great bit of chat too. Fair play to him, poured a spot-on pint of Smithwick’s — not bad at all for a French lad! M O'Briens is a quintessential "local pub" where you have the regulars that come in, breed an air of familiarity, and have their say in every discussion. I walked in on a cold Irish evening in Dublin when the jacket I'd bought from India failed to keep put the wind and the lovely Irish weather. O'Briens was warm, quiet and the barkeep was very helpful with what Irish whiskey I should knock back. Added bonus he was a history buff as well. He gave me recommendations for which Irish whiskey to carry back and why. I felt right at home, such a sense of familiarity and belonging.... Visit here if you can.

We had our last lunch in this place. Amazing gastronomic experience. So sad because we didn't have enough time to enjoy more. The service was excellent and the food amazing, congratulations to the kitchen as well. Very derved 5 stars and highly recommended.
