Cosy cafe dishing up hot breakfasts, curries & stews, plus coffee, cakes & outdoor seating....
Best spot for breakfast visited. Waiting time was not too long and staff was organised, polite and friendly. I didn't wait to long for the food to arrive at the table even if the restaurant was full. Full irish breakfast was excellent! Well done!
We decided to have a brunch here and it was a great choice. Even though the place is small, it’s very cozy and the service is excellent. The food was delicious and the portions are generous.
We were delighted to find Keoghs Cafe on our doorstep when staying close by. We heartily enjoyed their tasty good value Full Irish breakfast and house eggs (see photos). Also on several occasions Keoghs delicious home baked muffins, including to go, which we then enjoyed at the airport. What a treat! Service was warm, friendly and personal and we loved the atmos! If Keoghs were our local cafe it would be hard to keep away. So until next time...
Food - ordered a lot of different stuff to share, the favourite was the sausage roll and granola. The scone was ok but in you always want that fully fresh (home-baked is always better). Service - really good, the server distributinf tables was attentive as nice given 2 of 5 came like 20-30min after set time. Didn’t like the over the counter ordering though. Atmosphere- was a bit simple, which I like, but mostly tight of space.
I had a fantastic experience at Keogh’s today. The place was absolutely packed, yet everything ran smoothly and with such a friendly atmosphere. I ordered the full Irish and instantly fell in love with the sourdough. It was honestly some of the best bread I have had in Dublin. What made the visit even more special was the manager. She was calm, professional and clearly excellent at running the place. She checked in with us to make sure everything was alright and, when I mentioned how good the sourdough was, she surprised us with two extra slices. A small gesture, but it says everything about the care they put into looking after customers. Keogh’s never disappoints. Great food, great coffee and the kind of service that makes you want to come back.
