Counter-service coffee chain offering hot drinks, iced coolers, sweet snacks and sandwiches....
Lovely building for a coffee shop. 2 staff on at 10.30am Multiple tables uncleared, I’d say about 10, and looking like they’d been that way for ages. Customers coming in were left struggling for somewhere to sit. Coffee average. Clear lack of staff training.
I’m not usually much of a fan of chain cafes but I do like this one in particular! The interior is pleasing and I like the overall vibe. Food is ok (I mean it’s the typical prepared sandwiches which are just heated before serving) I only really order drinks and they can be a hit or miss. I only order my select few. It’s usually quite full because many students are here to study.
We visited Costa Coffee during our vacation in Dublin, and it was such a lovely experience! This particular location was absolutely beautiful — the building itself is charming, with cozy corners and perfect spots for remote work or just relaxing with a book. The service was warm and friendly, the food delicious, and the prices very reasonable. We truly enjoyed our time there and totally recommend Costa Coffee to anyone visiting Dublin (or anywhere else they find one!). Such a great place to enjoy a good cup of coffee in a cozy atmosphere.
Costa is a Dublin coffee chain. Their store across from Trinity College is conveniently located for anyone seeking a sit-down and a cup of coffee or tea after walking around the Trinity campus. The coffee is so-so, service is adequate — the big star of this particular Costa is the beautiful carved woodwork inside the comfortable, elegant shop. I'd go back just to sit, look out the window at the busy street and green park around Trinity, and admire the woodwork.
During my visit in December, I saw this coffee shop and decided to give it a try to warm up. The shop is big and it has a variety of coffees, pastries, and more. The latte I ordered was okay, I could barely get any coffee taste. I do like the taste of coffee, so I was hoping to get a good espresso, but it was very light. Not a bad stop to warm up with a drink or a quick snack.
