Cafe Java

This place used to be nicer but it's not anymore. The new options aren't that good and they don't even give crisps on the side. It has a nice vibe but they've got a lot worse over the years.

Don’t come here for a coffee what ever you do unless you fancy paying over €5 for a cup of foam. Save your money and go to any other cafe within a 30 second walk. Should have asked for a refund but with this service they won’t last long so they can keep the €5 as a donation.

I have waited for 40 minutes for not good quality 10€+ irish breakfast + coffee. Customer service at the till with attitude. The guy who took my order made faces. Do not recommend if you want to have nice experience on Sunday morning.

I recently visited this charming little cafe for a quick meal and a cup of coffee. I ordered the meatball and cheese ciabatta along with a black coffee, and I found a seat to wait. Although the wait felt a bit longer than expected, it was well worth it when the food finally arrived. I was blown away by how absolutely fantastic it was. I had requested the ciabatta without any extras, (just meatballs, cheese, and rocket), and to my surprise, they got it exactly right. It's a rarity these days to find a cafe or restaurant that actually listens carefully when a picky eater like myself orders. Overall, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere of the cafe added to the enjoyable experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit to indulge in another delightful meatball treat.

Grabbed a mushroom and cheese toasty from here and really wasn’t impressed. The toasty was very bland and quite boring, and was nothing more than what could be made at home. The service was okay, and local staff not overly friendly. There are several tables inside and more outside.
