Streamlined organic bakery serving specialty breads & pastries, plus cakes made to order....
A must stop bakery if you have the time! The baked goods were amazing and the staff was very friendly. There was a line out the door the entire time we were here and most all tables were taken. Maybe not the best place if you are looking to sit down with a big group (there are only 2 bigger tables). If you are coming here, definitely try their savory breads, they were so good!
One of my friends who is actually from Dublin strongly recommended this place so I visited the last day of my trip. Actually I wanted to visit my first day or second day but whenever we passed by this place there were HUGE queue. So we decided to visit very early in the morning. Even we went there when they are opening, there was queue!!! (Of course less people than I saw during day time) Maybe we visited very early in the morning, there were just general pastries, not really like new or special bread to me. And when we tasted the pastries.. it was good but not like crazy queueing worthy I would say. Coffee was okay. One thing I remember staffs were very friendly and sweet. Maybe I visited not the good timing when the best bread coming or they have changed, but as a person who is visiting all the nice bread and pastries places, it was just okay.
very nice coffee and pastries. the queue was out the door, but moved at a reasonable pace for a busy saturday morning. there was a delay for receiving our coffees, but to be expected given the amount of people. the pain au chocolat / almond croissant was very tasty and crispy! nice way to start the morning. would definitely go back if returning to the city
Our first visit to Bread 41 was around 2pm, and even though the place was packed and we to had queue for about 5–10 minutes, it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered an almond croissant with a cappuccino, and it was honestly the best almond croissant I’ve ever had – soft, flaky, full of delicious custard filling. My partner completely agreed. We loved it so much that we returned the next day around 9am for breakfast. There was still a queue, but it moved faster this time. We tried the sausage roll, custardos, and a salted knot with our coffees. The sausage roll was delicious and really filling, the custardos was so tasty it made us want to order more, and the salted knot was perfectly soft with just the right hint of salt. On our last visit, it was packed again and the queue was similar to our first day, but once more, worth it. We had a ham and cheese, which turned out to be one of the tastiest ham and cheese pastries we’ve ever had. We also got cinnamon rolls and another sausage roll to go – both were excellent. Staff are welcoming and always greet us with a warm smile. Kudos to the whole team for making every visit to the café truly memorable. When in Dublin, Bread 41 is a must-visit. Make time to queue and enjoy their wide variety of outstanding pastries – it’s absolutely worth it. 🫡🤤
Bread 41 is where craftsmanship meets creativity. A buzzing Dublin bakery turning simple ideas into pure flavour. The sourdough is exceptional, the Cruffin irresistibly flaky, the Savory Croissant rich and inventive, and the Sausage Roll easily among the city’s best. Coffee’s on point, staff are upbeat, and the atmosphere hums with local charm. It gets busy and prices reflect the quality, but every bite reminds you why it’s worth the hype.
