Wulff & Konstali Islands Brygge

I loved Wulff & Konstali so much that we actually went twice during our trip. It’s definitely a popular spot, so I’d recommend booking on their website in advance because it gets busy. What makes this place special is the breakfast concept — you create your own breakfast platter by choosing a set number of items. It’s such a fun way to try different things. My favourites were the grapefruit with lime, which was super fresh and flavourful, and the bacon which was honestly so good. I also tried their matcha, which only came with caramel syrup, but it actually worked really well and tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and even gave us some recommendations for places to visit while we were in Copenhagen, which was such a nice touch. The price is around £25 for the 5-item platter or about £30 for the 7-item option, and I’d definitely say it’s worth it for the quality and experience. The only thing I wouldn’t order again is the smoothie bowl as it was a little too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, it was a really great breakfast spot and I’d happily go back.

I usually don’t like leaving 4 star reviews but would appreciate if others shared their honest opinion so sharing mine. Wanted to check out this place because they offered an 0800-0900 weekday special. I ran from my hotel, in the snowy like rain to try the breakfast special but when I entered the place there was a party of 10 all ordering coffee. No problem. Wait to see if I could get a table to try the special. After waiting 10 mins, the one waitress told me because she had too many customers, she cannot accommodate the breakfast special. One star deducted for that. You advertised 0800-0900, I got there in time (0833) and due to number of customers you can’t accommodate. So next option was brunch option. Settled for brunch, which was delicious! Then another gentlemen entered at 0855 and asked for the same breakfast special. Same waitress told him he had to arrive at least by 0830 because she has to be able to make it before 0900. The gentlemen questioned why it worked that way. I wanted to interject and tell her I was here at 0830 and that wasn’t what she told me but decided to keep my mouth shut. Later after the rush, the waitress offered ginger shots to the party before me for the long wait. To the waitress defense it looked like it was only herself and a cook running the place. Which kudos to them for doing so with such little staff but your advertisement was to offer breakfast special between 0800-0900. I would have appreciated a response such as “we are currently extremely busy. We can accommodate the breakfast special as advertised but it will take some time due to the limited staff” vs denying advertised breakfast because they were busy. Again, food was great! But service matters.

The food is very good, except the scrambled egg. It was not real egg and for the price you can expect that. Other then that it tasted really good and you were also full afterwards. The restaurant itself is pretty small. The tables in the back are way too close to each other and the ones in the front do not feel comfortable at all. Also it does not look appealing in general.

I visited Wulff & Konstali for brunch this Friday after a close friend highly recommended it, and I’m so glad I did! It definitely lived up to the hype. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, pastries, and beverages to suit all tastes. The staff, especially Olga, were incredibly warm and welcoming. Olga helped us choose based on our preferences, and everything was absolutely spot on! I highly recommend Wulff & Konstali—definitely worth a visit!

I was recommended to come here by a friend and I’m so glad I followed their recommendation! The breakfast portion of 5 dishes was perfect for one person. They’re perfectly sized but filling. Everything was absolutely delicious! One of my favorite meals in Copenhagen! If I find myself back in the city, I will without a doubt return.
