Tilda & Karl

We happened to walk past the restaurant on a Saturday evening and I stopped to look at the menus. The owner - not called Karl or Tilda :D! - happened to be standing near the door and he stuck his head out and told me they had a table free for pop-up fondue night. Say no more!! - it's one of my favourite eating experiences/ meals so we spontaneously had dinner out (after the theatre). It was such a lovely evening - great cheese fondue with crispy pickles, firm pear, dried beef and bread served in a little bag... all beautifully presented in a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere. As we were leaving, my son - who wants to be a chef - asked if he could come and do a work experience at the restaurant and was told yes! What lovely people... we'll definitely be going back. Thank you.

Nice family friendly brunch café. I visited on Sunday morning and the place was packed. There was a baby shower so half of the place was occupied by the guests. They were very loud and took a lot of place. The food was good. Not a huge selection. If you prefer more adult-only places, this is not for you. :)

Second pop up I am attending and both times I had a great meal and time.Looking forward for the fondue next😊

Recommended to come here for a wealth of vegan options. It didn't not disappoint and the atmosphere was really lovely too! I mentioned vegan options and a chef came out to talk through the menu and what was possible, eventually creating a bespoke sandwich for me on focaccia which tasted delicious! I sat and enjoyed the ambience with a coffee in the beautiful coffee shop and then left satisfied.

Coming from Switzerland, I must say it was the most delicious rösti I have ever had. The waffles were equally delightful! We visited twice during our 5-day trip. Plus, small dogs are welcome inside as well. 🐩
