I agree with some of the reviews I had read about the dinner experience. We came here for dinner and all four of us chose the tasting menu. The service was friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food was neither memorable nor particularly filling. The only standout dish were the dumplings; the rest was not especially exciting. The cake that came as dessert was really dry, for instance. We also noticed that the table behind us (a couple, also having the tasting menu) was served a larger amount of tapioca bread. It was also odd that, for some dishes, we received seven pieces for four people instead of at least eight, so that they could be divided evenly. Considering the price (around €60 per person), I don’t think it’s worth it.
The place has a lot of potential, however overall we were not impressed. (For Dinner) For the first round the shrimp and pickled dishes did not impress us. The dumplings were pretty good though. For the second round, the tuna was okay. The tapioca bread was amazing with smoked butter and cheese, highlight of the evening for sure. Would come again just for this. The sweetbreads main was interesting, different type of protein, however missed the mark with us. Too much fat, and the dish lacked some contrast with everything being mush and soft. Some more acidity would have worked for sure. The dessert was really good in texture, and the taste was good, however it did not amaze us. For drinks (only non alcoholic) the selection is not large enough for beer. For the kombucha we also got half a glass, white other dinners got 3/4. A lot of potential however the dinner was not consistent.
A lovely spot for dinner, perfect for a date or a casual night out with friends ! The service was amazing, I’m vegetarian and felt really well taken care of which doesn’t happen that often in Cph. The veggie options were delicious, unique flavor combinations ( can really recommend the mushroom dumplings and polenta buns with smoked butter) and filling too ! If you go for dinner I can really recommend the kombucha pairings , it’s a really cool alternative to wine if you want to have a booze free but very satisfying experience! Will go back for sure ❤️
Tried their new dinner menu, and wow! Such a fun concept! We had the 7 serve tasting menu and kombucha pairing, and loved every bite. Shrimp tartare, seared tuna and tapioca bread were for sure my highlights and I love the selection of alcoholic free drinks, so creative and perfectly paired. Beyond excited that this fav spot is now also open for dinner!!
Decent experience. This is the kind of place where if we lived here and were nearby, we would revisit. But we wouldn't necessarily make a special trip or call it a must do if you're only in cph for a short time. It's quaint and cozy. Food was great. Loved the reasoning in a pit. We left satisfied. Definitely book a reservation!
