The Black Diamond Café

The café inside the library is very busy, but the views are beautiful and make it a pleasant place to sit. The staff were warm and attentive, and both the food and coffee were decent and reliable. Personally, I’m not a fan of serving lattes in handle-less glass cups, but overall it’s still a nice stop for a break.

Great coffee and beautiful views. The only small improvement would be clearing and cleaning the tables a bit more promptly.

Delicious pastry!! Coffee was ok, not the best but did its job ;) Beautiful view outside, super peaceful! And the staff were friendly!

I like this cafe where gluten free meal options are availabe here. The ambiance inside the library is wonderful, as is the view outside. Take some time to sip coffee and bite bread before starting my day in the library.

Vegetarian salad and mushroom toast (tiny) are pretty bad, go with the chicken salad if it’s available. If you’re a student there are some discounts on coffee and few other items in the menu. There is a canteen next to the restaurant at the ground floor (take the stairs on its left and go upstairs) where you can have lunch for 42kr every weekday after 1pm
