We visited the restaurant based on the strong 4.3-star rating, but our dinner experience was deeply unsatisfactory. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, the empty restaurant was our first concern. The issues began immediately with the complementary bread, which was strangely cold on the outside yet steaming inside, as if microwaved. A serious hygiene lapse occurred when a bug was found in one of our drinks. While the waiter promptly replaced. the starters (tomato soup and garlic bread) were good and tasty, the main course was a complete letdown. The ribeye steak, though cooked medium-well as requested, tasted charred and excessively salty. The vegetables were soggy and bland, and the fries were served cold as cooked hours ago. The overall atmosphere was unprofessional, with staff shouting loudly from the kitchen while preparing the food. Most distressingly, we later learned from neighboring diners that the recommended stake suce name "Champagne Sauce" contains alcohol. We believe the staff, who were unable to speak english, at least be aware we are Muslim, and should have identified this when serving it.
An excellent steak restaurant, the owner and chef named David welcomes the guests himself with a smile and offers something to eat. We were 3 diners and he offered us and we agreed to eat a large piece of tenderloin for the three of us at a cost of about 400 Danish crowns per diner, as a first course we received a rich and very tasty tomato soup with a stunning pesto sauce and warm bread and some salad and fried fish. After that, the meat arrived by the chef himself who served it to us at the table and cut the big piece for our plates, the meat was very soft and very tasty, the three of us could not eat the whole piece. In total, we paid about NIS 230 per diner, including a soft drink. An excellent culinary experience.
From start to finish it was a theatrical experience, all done by mr dawoud himself, he put on a culinary show that kept us entertained and very funny man. The fresh bread with the soup I could probably have that and be happy! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and to top it off the devil sauce just complimented the steak! Chips were cooked beautifully and were very nice. I wasn’t fond of the prawns! It’s on the pricey side but I loved it so would come back.
Cozy little restaurant where you can feel you sit with the nabo table. But there is a really delicious selection of meat. Also a good selection of appetizers. The ice-cream dessert was also really good.
Just landed Copenhagen and finding a dining place for my 1st meal in here. Unexpected well cook tenderloin steak 300g I ever have it with a reasonable price. Jump in at 3pm but the chef still love to serve me. For sure will come once again before I leave. Highly recommend - Savana. #Devil sauce is really spicy
