I walked into Hjerterum on Tagensvej just looking for a quick bite to eat, but I ended up staying much longer than planned, as this place completely blew me away. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and full of warmth. The staff are some of the kindest and funniest people I’ve ever been served by. Right away, you’re greeted with a genuine smile, a soft voice, and an easy conversation that just feels and flows naturally. Everyone in there seems like one big family, and you can really feel the warmth and connection in the air. It’s not just a café - it’s a tiny pocket of peace, laughter and kindness in the middle of Copenhagen. I couldn’t recommend trying this place out more:)
