A great spot we just stumbled upon after a boat trip. We both had mochas and they were delicious. The owner was lovely, super chill and it’s such a busy spot. Highly recommend. Good vibes and very cosy.
An excellent cafe to stop in on a cold winter evening! The owner was very friendly and had good selections for everyone who visited based on their preferences. My husband and I both arrived later in the evening before closing, and he very kindly offered us some napkins to clean our steamed up glasses so we could see the menu 😅 We had the aztec chocolate flight, prepared traditionally with water and no sugar, and it was fantastic. I prefer darker, bolder flavors, so the cinnamon chocolate and the chili chocolate were my favorites. My hubby later ordered an "all spice" chocolate with milk and a bit of sugar, which was more to his liking, though he also really enjoyed the flight. All in all, I would love to return the next time I'm in the city!
I loved it. We visited this place on 30th of December. I was looking for a vegan hot chocolate, which was honestly a bit challenging to find in Copenhagen, but this place was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything about the products they sell, including the taste of the chocolate (sweet or bitter version) and their origins. The hot chocolate was easily a 10 out of 10. On a cold day, it was the best thing to have. The café itself was so warm and cozy. To be honest, the only place I can really say felt hygge despite how often the word is advertised all over Copenhagen. I also enjoyed the Chocolate book on top of it :)
Natural cocoa, unsweetened, is common in Eastern Europe, but quite rare in Western and Northern Europe. This establishment stands out not only for this, but also because here you can try traditional Mexican cocoa: milkless and with pepper. They also offer other variations. We ordered cocoa without sugar, with cinnamon and cardamom. The presentation is interesting, kind of unique, the taste is excellent. The knowledge the owner of the establishment shares immerses you in the atmosphere even more.
From hk🇭🇰 The owner is super nice and she gives me a small Christmas gift! I ordered the traditional hot chocolate and a blueberry muffin The chocolate delicious and rich in flavour while the blueberry muffin is fluffy Everything is perfect to start my day!
