Extremely disappointed. The buffet is significantly overpriced for the quality and selection offered, and to make matters worse, coffee isn't even included in the price. The environment was even more of an issue. It was freezing cold inside—it's February, but it felt like there was no heating at all. We had to leave after an hour because we were simply too uncomfortable to stay. To top it off, the toilet is located in a separate building outside with no heating, no lights (it was pitch black), and no running water to wash your hands. If you cannot provide a warm environment or basic, hygienic bathroom facilities, you shouldn't be open for business during this time of year. Avoid.
Pastries were nice, location quite adorable but the coffee mediocre and also served as on the image. Firstly I received coffee with milk (i asked for oat milk), and then after receiving that blaming look, the waiter started preparing my flat white. Then, I got a glass with coffee and almost no oat milk pushed towards me like they're doing a favor... really disappointing attitude and coffee was not tasty. 💔 Will come back to try brunch as the location is lovely but seriously, maybe these people need team building activities cause customers don't deserve such attitude 😐 I come to recharge and have a lovely time and not to waste my energy on someone's bad day...
I had an unexpectedly delightful meal at this cozy neighborhood restaurant, where I tried the portobello sandwich and the soup of the day, a squash and tomato soup. The flavors in the sandwich were amazing, and it turned out to be a dish I thoroughly enjoyed, despite it not being something I would normally order. My wife and I split the soup and sandwich, which were perfectly balanced together. The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere and seemed to be a popular spot for locals, with only a few tourists like myself. I particularly loved the setting, which was tucked within BaneGarden. Though the garden was mostly dormant in December, I would love to return in the summer when the garden is in full bloom. In December, the main draw was the holiday market just next door to the restaurant. There were a nice collection of handmade crafts to browse after a great meal.
We booked the buffet by mistake trying to book the buffet for banegarden, but it was a good experience anyways. The boiled eggs, baked tomatoes and pancakes were out favorites. We asked for coffee outside the buffet menu, it was a bit too milky but good! Booking there is always a good choice cause you can find the place a bit crowded sometimes. We will come back if we are around sydhavn again.
Extremely cosy bakery in the midst of a nice Green area. We were 8 people and we didn’t have a booking and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. I really liked their coffee (a bit more pricey than Copenaghen average) but extremely flavoursome. The baked goods were all really good. I loved the apple and cinnamon pastry tart. It was flakey and buttery! Cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer to get breakfast outside
