Original Coffee

Original Coffee Nordhavn was a great find. Finally a coffee that’s properly strong and bold, with a nice bitter/tart edge — exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is relaxed, the interior design is beautiful, and overall it’s a really pleasant place to take a break. Would definitely come back.

Just one lady doing everything but was very efficient The coffee was SO smooth with a pretty latte art - had a hint of fruity notes at the end The sourdough bread was SO good [20 krr] - though a bit hard on the outside, chewy on the inside. Decided to add butter and cheese which made it [39 krr total] The poppyseed pastry that had some sweet fillings inside was VERY tasty if you liked poppyseed Overall, really cosy vibes and everything was great

Nothing beats a warm cup of cafe latte we with some nice pastry in a raining winter Copenhagen morning. The coffee is of light roast, sweet, the pastries are flavorful - banana breads full of ripen banana, the other tasteful cardamom. Service is warm, in a quiet environment with soft background Jazzy music.

I ordered the hot chocolate here and was pleasantly surprised! This was easily among the best hot chocolates I’ve had in Copenhagen, as many places don’t blend the cocoa well, put very little sweetener, etc. This one had a rich, creamy texture and was just the right amount of sweetness. Loved the chocolate powder on top too. The atmosphere here is nice—great for working/studying or of course socializing. The light in the summer is great but unfortunately the open windows meant that smoke from smokers outside came inside the cafe at varying points. The cafe of course can’t control if people decide to smoke, but this place might be better in the fall/winter when the windows and door will likely be closed if you don’t like cigarette smoke and plan on staying a while.

Loved this place! They really nail the whole simple but good approach to a Cafe experience. The coffee was great, as were the fresh juices. The breakfast options were perfect, not too large, good price and yum! Will be back for sure.
