Navnløs Kaffe & Bar / Frey & Nordberg

The place undoubtedly has an excellent location and all the makings of a really good café/bar. Yet it seems as if the ambitions stop there. The atmosphere is surprisingly devoid of coziness, a brave choice in the middle of Copenhagen. Unfortunately, the bathroom also does not contribute positively to the overall experience in terms of cleanliness. The prices are set as if you can expect good service and a pleasant atmosphere. My experience was different, however. The service seemed more efficient than welcoming, and the glass was placed on the table and pushed towards me, a service that felt more mechanical than friendly. These are small details, but they are precisely the ones that determine whether you want to return. Fortunately, there are several cheaper bars in the area where the atmosphere and experience overall are much more inviting.

I visited this café recently and was disappointed by the service. The hospitality was lacking, and the waitress was notably rude, which made us feel unwelcome. It almost seemed as if the place doesn’t welcome hetero men. To make matters worse, the waitress was drinking on duty with her friends outside. We ordered coffee, a brownie, and juice, but were initially told there was no juice, despite seeing a bottle on display. After pointing it out, the juice was reluctantly served. The brownie was hard and clearly old. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience and I won’t be returning.

For a 4-day city trip, we had breakfast there every morning. The welcome is excellent and the atmosphere in the street reminds you of certain districts of Paris. Don't worry while waiting for your coffee, you will have the best of Copenhague we found ... You will notice that the coffee beans in the jars before your eyes have a beautiful color and are very dry. The boss takes the time for each gesture, for each coffee and the result is very tasty.

Great cappuccino with just a few food options. I ordered egg on bread thinking that it’s scrambled eggs. But I should have known better! This is how they like their eggs here. The bread is delicious with grains in it! Great place to hang and bring your laptop. The owner has wonderful musical taste and very friendly. I enjoyed spending time here.

A very skilled barista who made a flawless flatwhite, even when she had a rush of customers. Had a very pleasant espresso as well. The pain au Chocolat was great. All in all, after years working in cafés myself i left this place thoroughly impressed. Thank you.
