I want to mention one thing: when it was my turn, the staff immediately switched to English based on how I look. I’m learning Danish and can handle everyday transactions. It would mean a lot if people who don’t look stereotypically Danish were still given a chance to speak Danish before assumptions are made.

Located in the upmarket and prestigious Illums a very nice store. Unfortunately the complete lack of service and friendliness during check out turns this shopping experience into a complete bummer. No danish spoken in shop.

A hidden gem cafe — what you are looking for in a quiet library is here, and better. You can sit on high bar in front of a view with a book, a piece of patisserie, a pot of hot herbal tea, on a rainy day. Find Muji on 4th floor and the Teahouse by the windows. Bonus: can charge devices

A really cozy cafe located inside Muji at Illum. As for interior, it’s got a very aesthetic japandi-style. Perfect spot for studying (plenty of electrical outlets) or catching up with friends. The highlight was the amazing service! The barista was super kind and gave me a free macaron as the delivery of baked goods was delayed. As for food, I really recommend the matcha roll. The sweetness was well balanced with the bitterness of matcha, and it had some zest to it as well. Recommend everyone to visit this tea house! ☀️

A fantastic shops, great place to shop for reasonable prices from clothing, bed linen, home decor, wines and liquors. The flagship Muji store occupied almost the entire floor building which made the place into a comfortable and easy shopping for costumers. The shop has a teahouse and great to relax before and after shopping. Very friendly and highly trained staff for costumer service. Highly recommended 👌
