Motivated by the high ratings, last week my friend and I decided to give this place a shot. We ordered a cappuccino, a cortado and two buns with cheese. Both coffees were extremely bitter and indicative of a poor product and/or a setup which had not been dialed in. Either way, for a place specializing in making coffee, it was a disappointing visit and not worth the money. There are several coffee places nearby who charge the same for great coffee. The bun itself was alright (hence the one star), although it would’ve have benefitted greatly from more than a single slice of plain cheese. Also: The place is freezing in the winter.
It’s a great place to sit, relax, and take a break while sightseeing.
This cafe is magical. Cute decor and staff, my cortado was a perfection. Was fantastic to wind myself down after walking around the park.
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the café Kafferiet in Copenhagen, Denmark. A small café with just a few tables outside (about four), while the inside is mainly for take-away. The coffee was very good, the service friendly, and the location convenient, close to nearby tourist spots. A nice place to stop for a quick drink.
Very cutsie! Tiny and very nicely decorated. Could spend hours just looking around :) service is welcoming and there are lovely tables and chairs to sit outside.
